Cork English College

cork english collegeEstablished in 1978 by Valery Cullen, Cork English College is a renowned English school in Ireland. It is still a family-run institution today, with Marc, Valery's son, in charge. In 1978, Cork English College began hosting international junior summer camps at Douglas Community School, which continues to function as one of its Summer Junior Centers today. Language Activity Holidays (LAH) was the initial name of Cork English College.

In 1994, Language Activity Holidays changed its name to Cork English College and opened its first adult facility on St. Patrick's Quay. Five years after purchasing a second building on St. Patricks Hill, Cork English College acquired the main building on St. Patricks Hill as the school expanded and welcomed more and more students to Cork.

cork english college2In addition to offering high-quality services, Cork English College is one of the last family-run English language schools in Ireland, and as such, they take great care of all of their students from the moment they enter the building.

They assist students at every stage of the process because they are aware that moving to another country to study English is a significant undertaking. To make sure the students get the most out of their experience and create lifelong memories, they do everything from helping the students with immigration to taking them on cultural tours and excursions to assisting them with CV and job preparation.
